Respectable Signor "Giuseppe",

My name is Angelica. I have written to you from the Facebook page of Maestro Walter Noetico (the Italian Artist). I have written quite extensively there, but I note that my message was not yet delivered to you, and that your last activity on Facebook was just at the time of your annual anniversary.

I shall be truly delighted if you could read my letter, and if you would be so kind to check your messages on Facebook, it will be marvellous indeed!

While writing I must confess that your views on life go in "sintonia" with mine. I also think that it is important to find "an entire world" in just one person and feel no need for any other friend on Earth and beyond! Such unions are a rarity and perhaps are granted to those who know to wait, and have the wisdom and knowledge of Love's true values!

Love is equally a rarity, and just because billions of people have been and are married, does not necessarily mean that they know what Love is, nor have they all got it! Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Sonnet 14 from the Portuguese "If Thou Must Love Me" beautifully outlines how Love should be!

Wishing you a marvellous rest of the week,
Angelica

Dear Angelina,

First of all, I thank you for your truly kinds words, which made me proud of what I've writen all along the times in this blog, because these words come from a remarkable soul, yours.

I'm sorry, but I won't do like you suggest me, to check my messages on Facebook. The last time I was logged on on Facebook was 4 years ago. And I don't intend to waste anymore my time on that social network. Because I don't want to become addicted to it. And I don't want to check someone else's lives over there.

Please don't call me Signore, dear Angelina. I'm a nobody. A bum. I don't feel right wearing that suit. And besides, you might have seen that I'm not italian. I'm a portuguese citizen of the world.

Hope to hear from you soon again. For now I rest my case. But there's a lot more I could reply you. I just don't wish to drown you with a big speech of mine in this first occasion we meet.

Noble "Giuseppe",

This is Angelica writing.

Having been in a "waiting mode" to hear from you further, I decided to read more articles on your website. I am truly enchanted by the way you write, and also of your personal views on many matters, which we discussed ample times in our household with Maestro! One of this, is the subject of Corrida! Maestro also was a strong believer that this barbarian act must be abolished. However, from our observation points, I must sadly confess that I personally am not hopeful, as the human society now is in the decline, Decadence Age, rather than "Renascimento"! The civility is greatly lacking nowadays, and the "human monkey" is returning gradually (and at a very great velocity!!) to the Ape Age! Have you noticed, by any chance, how the young generation all over the world is being encouraged to jump with a handball, rather than to sit quietly and read a classical literature book? Parents would buy a Steven King book for a 9-year-old child, and say: "well, it is still a book, let him read it!" (NB. evidenced by personal experience)

While writing, I would just mention that I have replied to your letter of the 4th of July, almost immediately, the following day (which was only a few hours, giving me the opportunity to night's rest). However, I replied to the e-mail which stated "no reply", and I wonder if you had actually received my reply and also the subsequent P.S. which followed on the 6th of July, with some images for you.

I must confess that I am rather from "another Century", and am somewhat limited to technology, thus - as I had not received any acknowledgement to my letter in reply to yours, I am uncertain if you had received it. Perhaps, I was supposed to be writing my reply always through this website? In which case, I failed to know this. I apologise. I also think, that our epistolary exchange may merit "non public" presence. Do you agree? In which case, I would have been delighted to communicate via a private e-mail facility.

With luminous greetings,
Angelina

Dear Angelina,

I'm not an IT guru, either... But I don't recall having received any email message from you in the inbox of both my email accounts, giuseppe.pietrini@gmail.com or giuseppe.pietrini@live.com.pt... Not even on the spam folder, which I always check, as well, just in case.

Could you be so kind to send once again your mentioned email messages, please?...
